About me
I live and work in Ayr - on Scotland's South West Coast.
I am completely self - taught and have been taking photographs for the last 20 years but have only seriously devoted time to it in the past 10 years.
My main equipment at present is:

10-20mm AF Lens
18 - 70mm AF Lens
70 - 300mm AF Lens
Various Filters
Photoshop CS3
I also make use of an old Pentax K1000 35mm which I still find can outperform the the digital technology for precision detail and natural colours.
The website is a new addition to the methods that I have used to display my images. I also use a stock library - Alamy - for sales only.
I have won awards from the RSPB for my Wildlife and Landscape Photography.
Recently - September 2008 - I held an exhibition of my images (many of them on this website) at the Ayr Hospital which was received very well with lots of interest from staff and visitors.
